
IAF's Sarang, Suryakiran gear up to perform with Saudi Hawks, Russian Knights at Dubai Air Show

Preparations are in full swing for the opening ceremony of the Dubai Air Show 21. An IAF contingent comprising Sarang, Suryakiran, Tejas is all set for a performance. According to a government official, the Dubai Air Show will be held from November 14 to 18. IAF has been invited by the UAE government to perform with some of the world's best aerobatics teams. Along with IAF, Saudi Hawks, Russian Knights & UAE's Al Fursan will perform at the show. Five Dhruvs, the advanced light helicopters (ALH) of the Sarang Team, 10 BAE Hawk 132 aircraft of the Suryakiran Team, and three LCA Tejas aircraft were inducted at the Dubai Air Show on November 9, the official added. The induction was supported by IAF's C-17 Globemaster IIIs & C-130J Super Hercules. On arrival, the IAF contingent was received by senior officers of UAE Armed Forces & Air Forces. The Sarang Team has previously participated in the Al Ain Grand Prix in UAE in 2005. Suryakirans & Tejas will show off their aerial maneuvers for the first time in the gulf nation.
