World suicide prevention day is today and that means I have a story to share. Being suicidal was so normal to me for so long, I didn’t know what happiness felt like. Not until I got the help I needed, from people I could trust.

What made life better was finding a drop of sunlight. Just a second of pure joy, allowing myself to have fun and not feeling ashamed of that. From there more seconds came, until my days grew bearable again. Keep going until you find your drops.
